Scope of this policy

This policy explains how the Daniel Astone | Strategic Legal Counsel website handles information relating to visits, professional inquiries, and newsletter subscriptions. The website does not use analytics cookies or advertising tools.

When subscribing to the newsletter, visitors provide their email address. The website also records the selected language, subscription date and status, and the applicable consent version. This information is stored in a private database while the subscription remains active and is used solely to manage the subscription and send the monthly newsletter, on the basis of the subscriber’s consent. The information is neither sold nor shared for advertising purposes.

Professional inquiries

The website does not store messages sent through its email or WhatsApp links. Communication takes place through the service selected by the visitor, and the information provided is used to check conflicts, availability, and whether the matter can be accepted.

Please do not send confidential documents until representation has been confirmed. An initial inquiry does not constitute an engagement or create a lawyer–client relationship.

External services

Links to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and publications lead to external services governed by their own privacy policies and practices. This website does not control how those third parties process data.

The website’s hosting and database infrastructure relies on technical service providers and may involve data processing outside Brazil, subject to the applicable technical and contractual safeguards.

Requests and withdrawal

Consent to receive the newsletter may be withdrawn at any time. To unsubscribe, request deletion of an email address, or exercise other rights relating to personal data, email daniel@astone.adv.br. The address will be deleted unless its retention is required by law.

Updates
